Love for sports, determination to succeed and patriotism. These are the attributes covered by linden leaves, the main motif of the clothing collection for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. This time, Alpine Pro designers were inspired by Art Nouveau and the first Czechoslovak postage stamp designed by the famous Czech artist Alfons Mucha in 1918.
In addition to design itself, developers had to pay a lot of attention to the specific climate of the venue, since the climatic conditions in the Black Sea resort of Sochi are different from the conditions in the mountain resort of Krasnaya Polyana where all “snow sports” are scheduled to take place. Therefore, special materials were used to manufacture this collection. The clothes are highly functional and out athletes will have at their disposal one lighter and one warmer variant of the same articles of clothing.
